For those lucky enough to work from home, telecommuting offers perks that traditional jobs don’t. If you telecommute, there’s no driving or traffic involved. You can sleep a little later, and you can break for lunch whenever you want. If you get ahead in your schedule, then you can take a break to go to the grocery store. The problem is that family and friends think that because you are home, then you are available to them and it is important for the telecommuter to lay down the ground rules to others regarding schedules.
